GPSI Guam was approached by DOCOMO Pacific to provide ground support for the 66th session of the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Committee for the Western Pacific. The conference was held at the Hyatt Regency, Guam on October 12-16, 2015.

About 250 professionals, including 150 committee members, reviewed WHO’s progress over the past year to reach consensus on five health challenges affecting the Western Pacific Region.

Partnered with Budazu Electric, GPSI Guam installed a LAN and all necessary equipment to make telecommunication and network communications necessary.  GPSI Guam configured 13 Wireless AP’s throughout the Hyatt Regency Guam Resort Board and Conference rooms in support of WHO and their conference participants. A separate Guest Wi-Fi was also provided for all attending Guest.

Led by Chuck Rios, GPSI Guam also provided program and operational network support before and during the conference.

The entire event was televised to all United Nations and US Embassy personnel around the globe via live video streaming
